Dr. Michal Halperin Ben Zvi is best known for her work on the National Guide "LOG IN," which provides insights on designing digital products for older users. She is a consultant on creating and adjusting digital products for older users and an expert in the psychology of older adults, a researcher, and a design strategist in the National Initiative to promote Digital Inclusion Among Older Adults at JDC-ESHEL. She developed research and field knowledge about how older people perceive and use digital products. In recent years, she consulted the development of dozens of services oriented to the 65+ population's needs and abilities, including health and banking digital services. Among the companies she helped to increase the engagement of older users are Medisafe, Simpy (ex. Joytune), Moovit, and more.

Abstract:
As we get older, we may face changes in our cognitive and socio-emotional abilities that will affect our interaction with digital products. Unfortunately, today, 2 in five older adults feel that technology is not designed for them and older adults are more likely to give up on digital products. In this talk, we'll explore how to design digital spaces that are more age-friendly. We'll discuss the challenges faced by older adults and provide practical solutions based on real-life case studies. We'll also highlight key elements of user interface, user experience, and customer experience design that cater to older adults. Most importantly, we'll emphasize the importance of involving older adults in the design process to overcome digital obstacles. Join us to learn how to create meaningful digital experiences for older adults with empathy and creativity.
