We present to you the 2023 (eng)aging– 6th International Conference on Aging & Technology Fair held on June 19 – 202023, in Prague. The event took place as an in-person meeting in Česká spořitelna Palace in Prague (Rytířská 29, Praha 1) and also was streamed online for those who could not physically attend.   

This year’s edition debated potential of the silver economy to benefit all generations and building capacity to manage crises and their impact on the lives of older persons and presented technological products and solutions (robots, VR, gadgets, mobile applications, wearables, etc.) which have a potential to improve lives of older people.

The event was co-financed by International Visegrad Fund, Czech-German Future Fund, JTI Czech Republic and Česká spořitelna.

(eng)agingproject is run by Active Aging Center (AAC), a non-governmental organizationwhich develops 
projects focused on improving life of older people - “Happy Senior” and “Good Investment”, in cooperation with KEYNOTEwellestablished consultancy.

Jakub Klepal is the Executive Director of the Forum 2000 Foundation and member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Democracy Assistance and Human Rights (DEMAS). He is the Founding Curator of the Prague Hub of Global Shapers of the World Economic Forum (WEF), previously served as the Chairman of the Board of DEMAS, worked as an analyst with the Research Centre of the Association for International Affairs (AMO) as the Head of its Americas program, and served as a member of its Board of Directors. Jakub was also a journalist, a research scholar at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and a Fulbright Scholar at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in the US. He is graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University as well as graduate of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
