Capacities for Independent, Healthy and Active Aging in Moldova
The presentation focuses to evaluate the reality of the Moldavian society in the context of the aging population in light of the multidimensional indicators of the Active Aging Index for 2016-2020. Based on the comprehensive analysis there are highlighted the challenges that the old people in Moldova are facing. On the one hand, low standard of living, poverty, limited access and quality of health services, restricted physical security, etc., on the other hand, a social perception full of stereotypes and behaviorally marked by discriminatory elements towards the old people. Through reasoned findings on the depth of the impact of demographic aging in the Republic of Moldova, the presentation raises awareness of the effort needed to adjust social and institutional components to ensure active, healthy, and safe aging for the country's population.

Immigrants 60+: the case of Poland
This presentation aims to to present the scale of the phenomenon of immigration of older people to Poland, the demographic structure of people arriving and the directions of immigration
over the last decade. It can be assumed that Poland, following a wave of economic emigration of its citizens, will become a country with increased immigration, following the example of countries that joined the European Union several years earlier, e.g., Ireland, Greece, or Spain. In the 21 st century we observe the growing spatial mobility of older adults, often from the North of Europe to the South. Part of these movements are return migrations. In the case of Poland, senior immigrants are usually people under the age of seventy who have
Polish citizenship. The spatial distribution of the inflow from abroad and the countries of origin of older immigrants suggest that we are dealing with the re-emigration of Poles leaving as early as the 20th century.

Psychology of Older Users: How to Increase Engagement in Digital Platforms?
Abstract:
As we get older, we may face changes in our cognitive and socio-emotional abilities that will affect our interaction with digital products. Unfortunately, today, 2 in five older adults feel that technology is not designed for them and older adults are more likely to give up on digital products. In this talk, we'll explore how to design digital spaces that are more age-friendly. We'll discuss the challenges faced by older adults and provide practical solutions based on real-life case studies. We'll also highlight key elements of user interface, user experience, and customer experience design that cater to older adults. Most importantly, we'll emphasize the importance of involving older adults in the design process to overcome digital obstacles. Join us to learn how to create meaningful digital experiences for older adults with empathy and creativity.
